Carry-on, Check

I picked out my first suitcase, today! 

I've never had to pick out luggage before, so of course I didn't know what I was doing. My friend Heather was with me and she has never picked out luggage before, so of course she didn't know what she was doing either. So, we had an adventure!


Heather picked out my suitcase for me and together I think we chose wisely a pretty decent suitcase. It meets the dimensions for carry-on luggage, it has a TSA lock, rollers, a sturdy handle, it's fashionable and it's dark purple.


My suitcase is somewhat similar to these suitcases below...

I can't believe Mary and I leave in two days for Austin, Texas!!! This is going to be a trip of a lifetime!!!

Press Passes Purchased

 We got the press passes purchased, today!!!  Hi-yo!!!

It's Only 26 More Days!!!

Here I come SXSW!  Here I come Austin!  Here I come Texas!

26 more days!  It couldn't come soon enough!

There are sooooo many bands, sooooo many conferences and sooooo many other things to see and do while at SXSW, it's going to be a challenge to fit all of it in .  

Someone already told me that this might be the last time they see me, because my head will explode when I go to SXSW.  But I'm thinkin' my head just might explode before I get there.

Oh, yes, indeedy! 

Just looking at the band line-up, the conferences offered, the keynote speakers, the activities, the things to do in the city of Austin and the anticipation of my first music festival and my first airplane ride overwhelms me, but in a good way!

Only 26 more days, until the best trip of my life!
